Michelle Mackenzie

Michelle is an experienced, versatile and forward-thinking consultant who specializes in non-profit association management. Her expertise includes corporate governance, leading and implementing strategic planning, all aspects of association management, government and stakeholder relations, advocacy, change management, branding and partnership development.

Her professional history includes work for a Member of Provincial Parliament and advocacy for some of Canada’s most well-known brands to municipal, provincial and federal governments across Canada. As a former Chief Administrative Officer and owner/operator of one of Canada’s premier integrated consulting companies for two decades, Michelle excels in analyzing organizational and policy issues, and creating customized strategies to help her clients solve their business problems and become their own best spokespeople.

She sits on the Board of Directors of The Justin Eves Foundation, a charitable organization that funds scholarships for post-secondary students with learning disabilities and research into teaching strategies for youth with learning disabilities. Michelle has previously served as a member of the Public Relations Advanced Diploma Advisory Committee for Humber College and as a member of the Board of Directors of CIVIX, a national charitable organization that aims to grow young Canadians into engaged, committed and active citizens.

Michelle earned an MBA from Queen’s University, a degree in political science and history from York University, an advanced certificate in human resource management from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business, and a certificate in Social Media Marketing from George Brown College. She is also an accredited Governance Professional.

When not in the office, Michelle can be found at the theatre, exploring an exotic international destination, or putting her interior design accreditation to work on home renovation projects for friends and family.
